Agriculture Scholarships

Farm Credit awards a $1,000 scholarship each year to 20 different high school seniors who will be pursuing an agriculture-related curriculum and career. Scholarship selections are based on a combination of academic achievement, participation and leadership in school and community organizations, and the applicant’s commitment level to an agricultural career.

Community Improvement Grants

Each year, Farm Credit Services of Illinois offers grants in the amount of $250 to 4-H clubs and FFA chapters making tangible improvements to their communities.

Contributions

Farm Credit makes annual investments in support of the Illinois agriculture industry. Contributions support Farm Credit’s vision for a vibrant agriculture industry, sustainable family farms, and healthy rural communities throughout our service area. Additionally Farm Credit established endowments totaling $1,000,000 in December 2010 to support University of Illinois College of ACES, Southern Illinois University College of Agricultural Sciences, Illinois 4-H Youth Development, Illinois Association FFA, Illinois Farm Bureau Young Leaders, Illinois Agricultural Leadership Foundation, and Illinois Ag-in-the-Classroom.
